I am 38 and trying to conceive #2 and not having the best of luck. With my son I was 36 and got pregnant first try with clomid and IUI. I am on my third cycle of clomid and waiting to find out if I am preggers again.

 It can take longer the older we get... there's only a 30% chance or something like that of getting pregnant each cycle anyways, and that drops the older we get. You are talking Clomid?
Good luck :)

I took clomid May-July. I did some reading about the harm it can cause and decided to try natural cycles. If I don't get pregnant by November then I will take it again. I just don't feel comfortable taking it too many months in a row. Plus, I was bloated and was experiencing terrible anxiety from it. I went to see my Family doctor for my thyroid (hypo) he did a ekg and was sending me to a cardiologist when I told him I was having anxiety. Once I stopped taking the clomid it all went away.
