I'd love to hear how others told there DH that they were expecting. I need some ideas for when the time comes xx (crossing fingers) again. The first time I didn't do anything special. I put the test on a towel and layed it on his pillow.

I'm afraid I wasn't overly creative  He was home when I took the test and knew when I took it -- so we kind of found out together :) He said he knew I was pregnant before I took the test anyways

Ditto ... word for word! :)

Exactly what Ann and Annie did. :)
But I've heard of others who cooked a meal with baby peas, baby carrots, baby corn etc. My dh would never guess based on that.
Or put your son in a "I'm going to be a big brother" t-shirt. You could paint it yourself with fabric paint. Maybe he'll notice.
Good luck. Hope your dreams come true soon.

I bought a pair of newborn sized booties and wrapped them up for Daddy-to-be. He opened the package and asked if they were for friends of ours who were expecting soon after. When I said "no" he realised they were for us. Our unborn has been known as Boots ever since. We do not know the sex of the baby and are having a lot of fun with it. Everyone seems to be an expert on looking at a mother-to-be and knowing what the baby is.
Does anyone else have names for their unborn?

I have two boys names picked out- Matthew or Jordan.
I can't make up my mind for a girls name- Meredith,Julia, JulieMarie, I have more written down on a piece of paper somewhere. It's hard to pick out a name. :?

I think we have narrowed the name field but it is hard to do without meeting the baby first. My MiL is an avid reader and she has pulled out all of the names from every book she read since we announced our pregnancy so we have a very long list. Right now we just use the baby's nickname (Boots) and we will have to change that afte the baby is born.
Congrats, Michelle on your anniversary!

Thank you ! We spent our Anniversary as a Family and took our son to a Wildlife refuge zoo then we all went to OutBack for dinner. It was a nice day. :-)
