Question

I have a friend in our quilt guild that is pregnant and due in February. She keeps saying that they are going to induce her and let her have this baby in December. It according to the ultra sound is only 2 lbs but very long and the feet are pretty large... not sure what that means LOL. I had 4 boys and all were two weeks early but one that was 6 weeks early and had problems keeping his temp up for the first few days and lived in an incubator (?sp). Don't you think it is way too early for her to have that baby?

Due in February but want to induce her in December? What reason did they give her? The baby has big feet? :lol: Unless there is some really compelling medical reason (I'm no doctor though) I would think it's way too early!

That is surprising. I mean, I know with my oldest, they wanted to induce her 2 weeks prior to her due date, and they were very hesitant about doing it 2 weeks early muchless 2 months early! So many of the babies body is still developing. I don't even think they owuld take a baby that early if something was wrong with it...unless it came out on its own.
