My mom was adopted -- I sometimes wonder about her "birth family". She did find and contact her birth mother years ago, but she didn't want anything to do with any of us. Her loss :lol:
I guess back when my mom was born (over 81 years ago now) it was so "scandalous" that she never got over that or something...
I don't feel bad about it at all though. More a curiosity than anything I suppose.

Annie, have you tried looking for your mom bfamily?

No, I haven't. I guess part of my wants to repect the woman's wishes (although I'm certain she is long dead now). It's not a real big deal to me. One day my sisters & I might be curious enough ;)

Hi Tami, I am adopted! :) I was adopted by my parents at birth. My current husband adopted my son (he is 8 now last year.)
