n 1692, in the Ipswich Colony of Massachusetts, five families with untold power formed a covenant of silence. One family, lusting for more, was banished; their bloodline disappearing without a trace--until now. This thriller tells the story of the Sons of Ipswich, four young students at the elite Spencer Academy who are bound by their sacred ancestry. As descendants of the original families who settled in Ipswich Colony in the 1600's, the boys have all been born with special powers. Hmmm...I liked the story of the movie when I read the jacket of the dvd...even considered buying it without seeing it first, BUT I am glad I didn't. It is not "Lady in the Water" bad, but just not good. The ending was really stupid and left it open to a second one, which with my fingers crossed, I hope they don't do it. I can't even put my finger on what it was that I didn't like about it...it was just something?
