We just saw a preview for that movie that will be coming out around Christmas! Did you know it was being made into a movie?! And not only that, but Sam goes, "That's that book I told you were were reading in Mrs. Pohly's class...That's what movie I told you she was going to take us to see...!!!" (I guess he didn't know how to pronounce it, when his teacher introduced it :lol: ) - isn't that cool though?!

I was like, totally beyond thrilled, and I had to come immediately and share that w/ you! :D

oh very cool, yes I knew about the movie but I won't take the kids to see it unless they finish the book LOL! I am reading it to matthew right now and we're almost done but I just love love it! the author's writing style is phenomenal and of course Desperaux's mom is a French mouse so I have to put on my French accent when I'm reading something she's saying and the kids love it. have you read it? if not you must, I think you're really really encjoy it. I'm going to be getting her other books for the boys for xmas.

Oh - how fantastic that you can read it with authentic French flair. :tup: That is so cool.

I think Kate DiCamillo (or something like that) is also the author of Winn Dixie...we have that book too - its great. :tup:

I showed Emma the trailer. She has decided she wants to keep the book! :lol: (Remember - she's read it twice...but this is a nice, collector edition.)
