This will be an ongoing list to add-to as we learn...I'll start...
1. Willful, strong-personalitied toddlers like my current one seem to be all about CHOICE. In order for me to get Charlie to come over for a diaper change without my head blowing off in frustration because I've asked him ten times in the course of 5 minutes, here's how our exchange will play out:
Me: "Charlie come over and let's get a clean dipey on ya,"
Charlie: "No!" (or lately, "Hold on..." :no: )
Me: "Okay, well, it'll be your choice what you bring with you - or if you want to stand or sit - if you come right now.
If you wait too long, then it will become my choice."
This ALWAYS works, he always comes running right away, so I thought it would be share-worthy. :tup:
