First...a big fat disclaimer: If you are easily offended, have a very solid moral backbone that refuses to bend for the rare totally-ranchy-but-worth-it flick, or if you are extremely disturbed by frequent f-bombs flying in the face of innocent little babies (as I myself am - yes, I know they don't understand but still...! ), you'll probably be some degree mortified - or downright turned off - by this movie.

If all of the above is a "go" for you, then I recommend you GO - ASAP - and relish in this crazy, silly adventure! I'd say it is quite possibly the funniest movie I have ever seen.

My husband and I saw this the day after my 40th birthday pool party, on the way to pick the kids back up from Grandma's house, so our whole movie experience started off on just the right fun foot.

So, it started off a little 'ho hum' for me - a wedding being planned, a wild bachelor party in the works - stereotypical characters unfolding before my eyes (the "wild" friend, the contrastingly "stable" friend, the "just plain weird" friend and then the very "normal" main character), the pilgrimage to Vegas ramping up for the action-filled night ahead... Ho hum, I was still twiddling my thumbs, getting them limbered up to bust into the Raisinets.

My first giggles erupted shortly thereafter, as we met the contrastingly-stable friend's live-in girlfriend...hilarious and horrific, at the same time, that real girlfriends and wives like that exist.

Then the giggles came more and more frequently, until at two points during the movie I was laughing so hard tears were literally spurting from my eyes. The only other movie where that has happened to me was during Billy Bob Thornton's "Bad Santa".

I loved that, by the end of the movie, I felt like I had been on a wild adventure with all the guys. If you can relate to and appreciate the disturbing humor of Pulp Fiction, I'd say there's a great chance you'll probably appreciate this one.

My personal favorite scenes - (1) the police department (2) the song lyrics and the obliviousness of everyone to them (with the one exception of hilarious Jeffrey Tambor, the bride's father) during one of the wedding scenes and of course (3) the end, as the credits are rolling. Don't dare walk out before the credits roll - it is the resolution to the whole adventure and scream-worthy on several levels. :D

That is so up our alley. Afraid we'll have to netflix it and watch it in a few months. Thanks for the review.
