Wow, what a question! LOL! It actually happened to me once -- for my best friend. I think that is worse because you feel betrayal from 2 people that you cared about & trusted.

That's terrible that it happened to you, Annie! My dad left my mom (after 22 years) for someone they both knew (his sales rep) and I considered that awful, until I met my friend Billie, who's dad left her mom for her mom's best friend! :tdown: :barf:

I guess I'd rather be dumped for someone I hated, if I had to make a choice - that way, it'd just be one more person to add to the voodoo doll collection. :lol:

if he/she was really your *best* friend then he/she wouldn't do that to you.

for me it depends.... if i was really hurt over being dumped then i'd rather be dumped for an enemy. but then they'd both probably plot against me. LOL

if i was glad i was dumped it wouldn't bother me if he went for my friend.
