 Welcome!
I don't remember Ryan having a full blown out and out screaming and kicking type tantrum that young, but definately the "I know what I want and this isn't it" kind!

Hello everyone
I've just registered today and looking forward to getting to know you all.
My son is 15 month old and for the last -yes- must be couple of months he has let himself fall down on the floor crying face down when something doesn't go his way or he can't have something he wants. I try to distract him and not make too big an issue of it. It's worse if he's sick or tired. Generally he's quite a happy little boy though.

the Terrible Twos is a total misnomer.
Yes, the tantrums usually start before 2.
I have an 18 mo. old and she has definitely started the "limp noodle" stuff when I try to pick her up when she doesn't want to be picked up.
and she most definitely will dramatically throw her peanut sized body on the ground and scream when she doesn't get her way sometimes.
Luckily, with her being my 3rd. I'm finding myself tolerating it much better than I did w/ the first 2. I know it's a stage that passes.
Well, I guess I should say the tantrums just change as the get older! My 6 yr. old can still throw a tantrum but it's different when it's an innocent little baby!!
