I was born in the 60's -- and my name isn't there... but my first name (Jennifer) is #1 for the 70's and 80's -- I guess I was just ahead of my time

first off - NO WAY! Your name is Jennifer? Whoa - would have NEVER pegged you for a Jennifer. You don't fit the name (or vice versa!).

I was supposed to be Jennifer too. Born in the late 60s but my name isn't on the 60s list. It's #39 on the 70s list but not at all on the 80s list.

My sister's name is on the 60's list by mine isn't? I knew a lot of other Michelle's in High School so I'm suprised. . .it was popular in the 70's though. My dad chose my name.

Misty isn't a very popular name either. and seeing how my Dad chose my name as a joke (maiden name is Day) I wouldn't expect it to be really popular. All three of my kids as well as my husbands names are on the list though.

Rachel is on there for the 80's woo hoo. I might prefer a name that is not as popular to stand out a little more. I would hate to be named just because it was popular at the time since it probably would not be when I was old enough to notice.
