Your
Baby's First Year ~ Month 11
Eyes
and ears and mouth and nose! Many babies will be able answer
questions such as "where is baby's nose?" by pointing it out.
Many babies also take their first steps at this age.
Your
baby may also:
-
Pick up tiny objects between his thumb and forefinger
- Understand
the word "no"
- Get
into a sitting position from his stomach
- Wave
bye-bye
- Push,
throw, and knock things over
Many
moms who are breastfeeding wean their baby around the first
birthday. If this is your choice, start thinking about it
now - weaning should be a very gradual process. If you decide
to breastfeed into the second year, don't
let others discourage you!
